We had to take our luggage to the ceremony and carry it to different locations during the event. "We spent 5 excellent days over Christmas, creating some wonderful memories. This was the second time we stayed here, with the added excitement of families together at Xmas. The house is large so plenty of space for everyone. All beds very comfortable Extensive gardens, and all kinds of outdoor games and outdoor equipment for all ages. Take your microwave as this helps a lot to supplement AGA cooking if you’re not used to cooking on one!"

"We enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to town and local shops/restaurants. Enjoyed being able to have facilities to make our own breakfast, although there is a restaurant downstairs. The shower was brilliant, water pressure was really good and the soaps provided were lovely. If we would niggle at anything it was the kettle took ages to boil, the loft bed light didn't work and the wall had some staining on it. But other than that a great night's sleep!"

The house was peaceful with a relaxed chilled-out vibe and the open fire was an added bonus on a cold evening.
