The location and house are beautiful, we really enjoyed walking around the farm and going fishing in the lake. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The house is perfect with everything you need for your stay. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Australia.
We had a great time at the farm. Our hosts did everything to accommodate us. They took us for rides around the property, the kids could feed the animals. We lived the fireplace in the house and the game room kept the kids entertained. We will be surely back :)
This was a beautiful place to stay, and waking up to that view every morning was stunning. The gardens were gorgeous. Great for a restful weekend if you don't have to go anywhere. I just wish I had a bit more time to enjoy it.
We had a great few days here. Harry and Carolyn's hospitality was superb and really made us feel comfortable to relax and enjoy the whole property. They were kind enough to let us participate in moving the cows and brushing and feeding the goats, which was a great experience for the whole family.
A fire was set for us. We enjoyed the games room.
The unit itself and surrounding garden are gorgeous, but there's a whole surrounding property to walk and enjoy as well. Even the roads leading to the property were a pleasure to drive.
Really glad we chose to stay! Highly recommended.
We had a lovely time, the kids loved getting to pat the goats and look at the cows. Location is just beautiful, overlooking a lake and beautiful garden around the house. Hosts were so accomodating and very patient explaining to the kids about the animals. Thank you Carolyn and Harry,
The property had everything we needed. The community room needs a bit extra lightening but believe that is work in progress. The hosts were very helpful and loved the interaction with the animals. Gardens lovely.
We had a lovely time at the property. Carolyn and Harry were very welcoming and available to assist with anything.
Such a beautiful and peaceful location with plenty of space to walk around and see and feel like the place was yours.
The accomodation was clean and homely with an amazing view of the dam.
Couldn’t recommend staying here highly enough for anyone looking to escape in to a real country experience
Harry and Carolyn are very nice couple. The property very clean and tidy. Kids and myself are busy with doing the wood fire or playing pool. Environment are very good. Owner are in retired age hopefully they will sell to someone know how to maintaine this beautiful area.
We are so grateful to have our short holiday at this place. Harry and Carolyn are such wonderful neighbors who had the magic to make people feel as if we stayed for long years together. A beautiful place matched with wonderful people. We are 100% satisfied. We found what we imagined. We'll obviously have another trip to the same place.
My fiancé and I booked this place to stay for the weekend while we were in the area for a wedding. We ended up having to book an extra night earlier than originally planned which Carolyn replied to promptly and the process was easy.
The unit had everything we needed and although attached to the main house, still felt like our own private area.
The grounds are beautiful and Harry and Carolyn gave us a great experience before we left, letting us pat their very friendly goats and went for a drive around the property visiting the cows. They clearly love their animals (every single one has a name!) and were so accommodating to us.
Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
What a beautiful property. The lake and gardens have many large native birds, sulfur crested cockatoos, yellow tailed black cockatoos, kookaburra, Adelaide Rosellas, as well as smaller birds. The goats have a wonderful playground to enjoy. So fun to watch their antics. One of our guys even caught a fish in the lake on his first day! (Rods provided by the hosts)
We were also lucky enough to see 2 koalas in trees beside one of the dirt roads leading down to the main road.
The area is lovely and relaxing too, we found lots of lovely coffee shops and places for eating out.
And for the colder weather there is a fireplace which heats the place up beautifully.
Great hosts, Carolyn and Harry were very friendly and helpful. Going the extra mile to make our stay so wonderful.
We had an amazing stay ( even through the weather was cold & wet)
We loved the fire place and everything was so green. A great view from the lounge and lots of natural light coming through the big window. My boys loved exploring the property and going for walks and getting back to nature. It was their highlight of the school holidays. They loved spending time with the goats and calf too.
Kitchen was great for preparing meals ( and the view is great from the kitchen too, overlooking the water)
Beds where comfy and everyone had a great nights sleep. There was plenty of board games available for the kiddies to play too when the rain got too heavy.
It is so close to some great beaches too, which makes for a fanatic all around holiday for any time of the year!
We would love to come back again one day. Highly recommend. The owners where great too .
Thanks again
We absolutely loved our stay at Leawarra Farm! Welcomed so warmly by Harry and Carolyn - there's nothing they wouldn't do for us - we felt at home straight away. The attention to detail in little comforts in and around the house to make sure we were happy was so lovely. Well designed kitchen with beautiful view for cooking our own meals, air conditioning in the bedrooms, pool table, incredibly beautiful gardens and gorgeous friendly goats to pat. And bird baths positioned around the place too. We could easily have stayed a week, just soaking in the serenity. So lovely and quiet. Also enjoyed heading in to Willunga (not far away) to the markets, galleries and shops to browse, and Aldinga Beach for a sunset walk. We'd love to come back in the winter to make use of the wood fire. The hospitality was outstanding - would recommend this place to anyone!
Amazing stay , very calm place where you can reset and chill. Definitely recommend to book, close to Adelaide, Victor Harbour and national park. Absolutely love it
