We have stayed hear many times and it is getting a little dated, most rooms are great but in the upstairs rooms the showers are hard to adjust to not scald/freeze yourself with the temperature variations

Was very disappointed with this accommodation ….fantastic location but that was the only positive. Room was very old with water stains on ceiling and curtains hanging off the rail. The bathroom had a notice to conserve water but tap over the bath dripped continuously and obviously had for some time as the bath was stained. Needed a good deep clean throughout…grouting going mouldy and floor good have done with a scrub. After staying in many other 3* motels on our journey around VIC , QLD and SA this was the worst and should have been a 2* or 21/2* at best! I was very disappointed in myself for booking it. Loved Glenelg …fabulous spot .

I actually booked here this time for my dad, l have stayed here a few times and always found it just what was needed. The staff are super friendly and so very helpful, thankyou. This place is so convenient to everything, or a great starting place. Thankyou again for making my dads stay good, and l will be making another booking soon

Im not fusy as long as i have a comfortable clean place to sleep. It was the cost that im not happy about. For a run-down room. Broken parts on the heater, warn down spots on the cabinet in the bathroom. It's aged. It was clean. Had a nice sleep. But the price was too high.

Badly needs refurbishing…not a pleasant experience as nothing seemed to work. Shower took forever to get hot and was spraying everywhere. Only positives were the clean sheets and location.

Friendly Reception. Clean and comfortable. Good location and easy parking. A little noisy from traffic also some sort of trolley every morning around 7am. Wouldn't recommend if you are easily disturbed by noise. Otherwise good value for money if you need a clean comfortable bed at the end of a day of adventures.

Well it is Budget Accommodation
Haven Marina do describe themselves as a budget accommodation option. They are a 3 star hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm with a heat pump. The power cable on the frosted (see photo) was a bit of a concern. Overall the room was clean if worn and scruffy. We didn’t use any other facilities so can’t comment on the rest of the place. Perfectly serviceable if you just want a room with a low pressure shower in a 70’s decor.

Old rooms. Desperately in need of renovating considering the picture perfect location. Dirty dusty skirting boards, old saggy mattress. Dirty electric jug. No wine glasses. Freezer caked with ice. Undesirable tiling in bath/shower. Dirty marked cracked walls, cobwebs all over balcony railings, dirty sliding doors. No breakfast available. A toaster in room would've been a bonus. Seriously won't be returning.
