"Very friendly hosts, help was there if you needed any, the room was very clean and well presented, We had a television, we had tea, coffee sugar, milk, biscuits, a sanitised toilet, an onsuite shower. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely choosing the same Guest house next year "

"The owner was very welcoming on arrival and showed me to my room. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and had a great night sleep. Breakfast was really nice and was treated with a friendly conversation and a lovely full English breakfast. The only issue was the bathroom was small, not much space to navigate around. Will be returning!"

"What a gem of a place. Such a welcoming place. Ann and Jim are the perfect hosts. Room with our own little private garden downstairs was lovely and the bathroom area very clean and eco friendly with no plastics. Even liked the bamboo toilet paper which I also use at home. Breakfast every morning is cooked fresh and very decent coffee. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

"This was our fourth stay at The Balmoral. We've stayed in some of the other larger hotels in Skeggy and haven't been to impressed. We found this one four years ago and haven't bothered looking for anywhere else since. Lovely little hotel and we'll be back again next year. "
