In general, the staff was kind... the reception, porter, waiters, even the chef! the receptionists were helpful: they were fast, polite and well understanding. Everyday - at the breakfast time from 7 - 10 AM I found the hotel manager salute me and asked about the quality of the food and if I have any comment. the hotel is near to coffee shop and a night club, which make from 8 to 11 a musical NOISE! the hotel also - as hotels.com mentioned - is closed to malls, local markets (24h super market) and restaurants (especially Indian)... if you like walking, you have to wear good shoes: Addis Ababa has up-down streets. I didn't found a high quality scaling City Map at the hotel: hope to provide in the future. But they gave to me the hotel card in local language to show it to the taxi driver in case I got lost. the room was clean and well arranged. they provide a teeth brush and one-use slipper in the bathroom, I had found hot water for shower anytime. it was a TV with 9 channels: 2 local, 7 in English: news, movies, clips.
