"The cottage was spacious with a gorgeous view of the water. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Would definitely stay again!"

"We had a lovely stay here for a week. We met up with friends who were visiting 1000 islands near by. The kitchen is huge!! I love to cook so could have used more tools but for the average meal plenty of supplies. They provided plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and soap. This is so wonderful as many times you have to go right out and get stuff. This made our stay even easier. We mostly hung out at the house mostly enjoying our time. "It was a little musty when we first arrived but opened everything up and cleared up in no time. Quiet as both neighbouring properties were being renovated. There was an obviously half blind and homeless cat hanging around ( because all the birds) felt bad for him fed him. It was private and quiet no one bothered us overall enjoyed our stay"

"You would think this is a typical road side motel but it's not. This facility is fully renovated. Everything in the room is brand new. Comfortable sleeping, great bathroom. Totally surprised as to how wonderful this establishment was for a more than reasonable price. Highly recommend. "

"Note: We did not stay at the cottage so this review is just about our communication with the host. We were visiting from Ottawa and were not able to get to the cabin due to extreme weather conditions and travel advisories not to drive on highways. We contacted the host asking for a rain check or some other way to accommodate us in this situation. She called and we discussed the situation and she said she would get back to us. However we never heard from the host again. We were disappointed that...

"This place was everything we could want, and more. We were looking for a quite place where my wife, kids, and I could get away and relax and spend time together. The lake was beautiful, the cabin was tucked away and private, everything was perfect. We even had a hot tub, that we were not expecting. We will be coming back next chance we get."

"Great host. Lovely to have 5 choices of main floor areas to be in (2 sunrooms, 2 sitting rooms , and large kitchen/dinner). We walked in and felt immediately at home. Bedrooms were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Thanks Jeff!"

"This property and home was unbelievable! The pictures do not do it it justice, I've been telling all my friends and family about this and showing my photos of the unique home. The octagon shape with the fireplace as the centre of the main room is beautiful. When we first arrived it felt like an adventure to learn the home. Fantastic fall getaway

"Dan & Barb have a beautifully appointed cottage with so many details attended to. All yh amenities are fantastic! As a foodie, my husband was delighted that the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need, including an induction stove cooktop. Th nds were very comfortable, the view is still running and the grounds are impeccably taken care of of. The firepit was a treat after enjoying the hot tub. They were highly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great vacation!"
