"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. The spectacual photos in the listing don't even do this place justice as it truly is a place you'd want to tour if you weren't staying there. But what really made this place speical was the host, Iris, who is a national treasure. She lives in an attached home, and she has made it her mission to purchase and restore this anchient chapel, which was being used as a barn when she acquired...

"Notre séjour dans ce gite s'est très bien passé. Il permet d’accueillir de nombreuses familles pour se retrouver le temps d'un WE. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon moment et les propriétaires sont très accueillant même si le gite, vu sa grande taille, est un peu froid pour l'hiver. La vue sur le château et le parc sont très sympas."

"We had a wonderful holiday. The location is in idilic countryside and farmland. There are sheep, cows and pigs all close by. We liked our visits to nearby Conches and Everaux. We were very happy to make a trip to Paris from here in order to see the Olympic football. Our son loved the pool which was kept beautifully. What a wonderful holiday. Thank you."
