"We stayed in the Cutelli Suite, it was nice as pictured. Very close to most of the attractions in Catania. Most of them less than a 10 to 15 minute walk. Also plenty of restaurants the same distance. The staff was very nice and helpful."

"We actually walked to the property from the Catania bus station. This location is near bars, sex shop etc. I would it was unsafe but it also didn't feel very safe either because all the bars it's surrounded by. Outside of the property/street isn't super clean but it's Catania and most of the street were dirty. Inside the hotel was clean and super beautiful. The staff was super nice and helpful. Be aware that access is on the side of the building adjacent to a parking lot through 2 locked metal gates and you must be prepared to carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs as the elevator starts on floor 1. Unfortunately just around the corner from the property are homeless people sleeping on the street and in doorways and a lot of garbage and graffiti everywhere but this seems typical for all of Catania. "We arrived at about 3pm and searched for about 10 minutes to find our hotel. Luckily we spotted a small sign in front of a locked door. We needed to phone the owner for access. The hotel was 4 flights up the stairs but the room itself was nice. The hotel was very close to the plaza with lots of restaurants and shops available. We really like the location, where is pretty much walking distance to every attraction. If the breakfast can upgraded a little bit, it would be perfect 5 star B&B.
