"The home is situated in a quiet area and equipped with air conditioning The five bedrooms were spacious, though guests need to provide their own bedding and towels. There are five bathrooms one of which did not work properly; however, the host addressed the issue. The host checked on us regularly. It takes approximately 40 minutes to reach Makola Market and the Art Center. Overall, the two-week stay was pleasant."

"Great home not far from the city but also secluded from the bustling sounds of Accra nightlife. Perfect for a long stay with spouse/family. Support staff were nice genuine and accommodated all requests and emergencies. Very thankful for being able to find such a home"

"This property is a small villa with 3 bedrooms is a deal considering it is about the same price as a hotel accommodation in Osu. Add to this that you have laundry facilities, a full kitchen and a spacious living room, this property is not just a deal, but a bargain. Michael are host was extremely nice and accommodating. The last day of our stay he let us keep our baggage in the villa till our evening flight. We come to Accra every year and we definitely come back here. "

Even with Ghana traffic, nothing seemed more than a quick trip away including the shopping malls, grocery stores, beach, airport, restaurants, etc. In that way we chose the right convenient location. "Property is nice, clean and descent. However, there are very important things that would have enhanced the stay and experience. There's an erratic electricity supply, a situation that results in frequent power outages from the national grid (ongoing load shedding), yet there's no standby power source (genset) at the house. The rooms become so heated up that you have to stay out. No active subscription for the so-called satellite cable TV (informed on site that it's only Netflix). Internet...

"The staff is courteous, friendly respectful and professional. The property is at very convenient location. The main problem was that the front door steps do not have a railing to hold onto going up and down; therefore, some people, especially seniors, have difficulty in navigating the front steps."

"We are so happy with our week long stay at the Number One Oxford Street Hotel. It begin with the staff going above and beyond to extend a welcome to us as we traveled from the US for our first trip to Ghana. From the beautifully decorated hotel, to the super nice and helpful staff, to the spacious and grandiose rooms this hotel was more than expected. We were also in a great location and the surrounding area was safe and walkable. The daily breakfast buffet was amazing as well. The pool area looked great but we did not have a chance to visit. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! We would definitely stay here again."
