"The lady at reception was fantastic and the room was clean but the heating had stopped working so it was freezing cold. By the time I realised the heating wasn’t working the reception had closed. If the heating had been working it would have been 5 star for a stopover on a long journey with my dog. "

"What a wonderful hotel. The exterior walls are original but everything inside is apparently new from 2020. So, you get modern electrical, plumbing, HVAC. The floors don’t squeak, the furniture is new but with old world charm. The perfect combination. The staff was friendly and adept at speaking English. The restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced. "

"An AMAZING beautiful hotel conveniently located in prime area. The entire staff was POSITIVELY the best!!! I can not say enough good things about the entire staff. From the moment we stepped in to the lobby we were catered to as if we were Royalty. They were so accommodating and helpful. I have stayed all over the World and spend at least 100 nights a year at hotels and the Hotel Pavie staff is at the very top and of my list!! The Restaurant is fabulous and if you can get a reservation it is a must do. I can not wait to return."

"Loved this hotel, it is right in the heart of St Emillion and it gives you. the opportunity to really explore the town on foot. There is parking at the hotel (if you book in advance which I would as parking in St Emillion can be challenging) which was a real bonus. Room was lovely, bed was super comfortable and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely stay here again if visiting St Emission."
