Firstly, this is my first ever bad review, which I feel compelled to share.
Upon my arrival, there was confusion about my booking. The receptionist asked me to take a seat as the room was being “prepared.” She called her manager, who then told her to give me any room that was available. The receptionist also stated that I’d receive a text from the manager giving me the code to my room. I stayed there for 10 nights and never received any text from the manager.
The pillow, sheets, and bathroom were very dirty. I was truly shocked at how dirty the pillows were.
I notified the receptionist on day one that the safe in my room wasn’t working. No one addressed this issues after 10 days of being there.
On several occasions, there was no water coming out of faucets or shower. I had to call the front desk every time I encountered this issue, and they’d check and the water would magically come back on. Mind boggling that you have to ask permission to use the restroom on your own hotel room.
Every time I took a shower, the bathroom would always flood because the drains in the shower would back up, and I’d be showing in a pool of water. Not only did the bathroom flood, the water would flow all the way to the room, and I’d have to clean it up.
I was woken up out of my sleep around 9am on checkout day, and reminded that I had to be out of the room by noon. I told them I’d like to extend until 6pm, and was charged for a full day. I received a call at 5:59pm asking if I was out.
