"We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. A very special place, very special people, and surely one of the one of the loveliest hotels in the area."

The accommodation is very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by and using the pool. We particularly enjoyed exploring Brantôme, Périgueux, Bourdeilles, the caves at Villars and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this gîte and would stay here again. "Splendid character cottage nearby to owners’ (Martin,Stella and Ziggy the dog) house. Idyllic setting with garden, patio and pool. Lovely to lounge when the weather was hot and a good base to explore places such as Limoges, Oradour-sur-Glane, and Jumilhac-le-Grand. Voie Verte starting in nearby Oradour-sur-Vayres is a great cycle path. Martin and Stella were great hosts and"
