I’m originally from Sweetwater which is 30mi west of Abilene and I now live in a major city. What I like about this hotel is that it doesn’t give hotel vibes but more as if you’re are staying in a home. Every one has always been friendly and polite and that’s what West Texas has always has been about.

Didn't like how the lady up front knocked on our doors to remind us check out is at 11 a.m. I'm a grown adult, I know when I have to be out! We still had 15 minutes to check out! She also was not up front to check us out when she was rushing us to leave at 11! They also had to move me to another room because my first room did not have a T.V. in it. Had I not said anything about it they would’ve kept me in that room 😕

They have done renovations to this dated property. There are USB ports and the cell phone charging pads in the room. But the room lightings were a bit dark. Staff was very courteous and pleasant. Breakfast was very simple. Scrambled eggs, Sausage patties, Oatmeal, Cold cereals, toast bread, Coffee, and some fresh fruits.
