"Great location near train station approx 6-10min walk depending on your mobility. We booked a twin room which was comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. No doubt the room could do with some maintenance and a refresh. The doors loudly squeaked which wasnt great if going to the loo during the night. The bathroom door didnt have a working lock and whilst you could adjust the heat in the bedroom you couldn't turn down the heat in the bathroom and with such a small room it...

"The Ibis is in a good city centre location next to an NCP car park. The rooms are basic but comfy, very clean with a comfy bed. Breakfast was the only disappointment with barely warm food, an over stood egg and no forks or spoons in the cutlery tray. I have stayed here before and will do again next time I visit Aberdeen."

"Great 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price.. Nice reasonably price restaurant and nice bar. Breakfast was superb and the tiny waitress from Thailand who was there was great, a wonderful personality. Only drawback was the lift was not working and they tried to put us on the 3td floor, my wife just cannot do that many stairs so I asked for a room on a lower floor which ended up behind an upgrade at no extra cost. "

"To be fair to the one member of staff I actually saw he was polite and helpful. I decided not to bother him about the room, as every time I saw him he seemed to be already dealing with a dissatisfied guest! The hotel is confusingly still branded prominently as a Holiday Inn Express, and fitted out much as one. It should be of a reasonable standard, but seems to be desperately short of staff. This clearly extends to housekeeping. While the room had clearly been done and the bed was well made...

"what a wonderful change in this place use for travelling to work but the foods fantastic, the atmosphere has changes and theirs more and more families use the place now keep it up lads doing a fantastic job "

"Lovely big room and super comfy bed. The lady at breakfast (Sarah?) was so kind, thoughtful and helpful. Deserves a mention as some people hate their jobs and are miserable; she was so wonderful. Medium black stain on the carpet is my only negative comment; and didn't ruin my stay!"
