"Feels like Im staying at my grandmas that I never knew. Very welcoming, feels like home. My wife cried as we were leaving. Fantastic food/dinner. Would recommend to anyone who wants an at home experience. They speak pretty good english for the area and are some of the most kind people I have met. Its not a 5 star hotel. Its a 5 star home"

"Vincent, Anna his mother were so nice. They did have a washer but no dryer. Breakfast was great. Coffee and tea was available 24 hrs. The vies were incredible a bit of of a challenge to locate because it is next to the main residence. Loved the space very clean safe and handicappable access no issues. We did ask for fresh towels but with the language they did not arrive "

"What a beautiful place to stay! Signore Pardi is very gracious and always answered my texts quickly. The Villa where the reception is and the breakfast room are lovely and have beautiful pictures of the family. Maria who greeted us was very sweet as was the lovely Signora who prepared our breakfast. It is a very peaceful place and has a lovely place outside our room to relax and look at the beautiful view. He suggested a lovely restaurant called Il Gattone. "We had the most amazing time at Torre Mannella! As soon as we arrived we had good feelings. Lea, Onello, Guilo, Plamen, Nona and the rest of their family were just so welcoming! We stayed in La Terrazza and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We would sit on the terrace each morning listening to the sounds of the Italian countryside, drinking coffee and breathing in the fresh warm air! Most important the large terrace with roof ideal for any weather and with view to the Majella on one side and hills belonging to the Gran Sasso on the other side. Kitchen and baths with all comfort. "The house was spacious comfortable and well equipped. The owners were really nice and told us great places to eat and sightsee. The house was very clean and the bed was cozy. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the beautiful Abruzzo area of Italy."

"The host family is kind and generous. They worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely with twin beds made up as a king; it had a bunk bed that we did not use. As in most of the places we stayed, wifi was slow; I used my cell phone data instead. Their breakfast was wonderful, with way too much delicious food, served in a lovely setting."

"My host is a wonderful guy and could not be more helpful. He apologized for the lack of hot water on the first day and it was not his fault there was no power on my last day. There is no menu for the meals but they were authentic rural Italy so no complaints there. Rinti their dog is very friendly and will accompany you on any walks you take. The family do not live on the premises so you can expect absolute peace and quiet during the evenings. A great place to rest and relax."

"We had an over night stay here. We struggled to find the place as our gps kept sending us to a quarry. Hotels.com map was no help either. Google maps worked perfectly!
