The check in was somewhat disconcerting. The notice from Expedia said no late check in and registration hours went to midnight. When I arrived at 4:30 PM on Sunday, no one was there. There were instructions on the front door and a machine next to it for self check in. It required the reservation number, which I fortunately had. It required a credit card for full payment. Everything worked, and it output a key. There was a phone number on the front door of a hotel to call if anything went wrong. I did not have a problem, so I did not need to call, so I don't know what the response would have been. There was always someone there at 7 AM when I went out. When I returned each day at about 6 PM, there was someone there one day, but the reception was already closed on the other days. Everything worked out fine, but it was not what I expected. The hotel itself was good. Breakfast had fried eggs, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, rolls and other breads, several cheeses, some vegetables, juices, cereal, etc. Pitched roof/ceiling on the top floor was different, but not a problem. Room was big enough, clean, shower worked well. Some traffic noise on street side of building, but not bad. Only night I noticed it was when there was a game at the stadium nearby, so more traffic that day. Surrounding area is good. Large park about a block away. About a 25 minute walk to the center of the city.
