"The house and garden were really pleasant to stay in. We particularly enjoyed the enclosed, very private and well-kept garden and the lovely thrushes on the lawn in the evening. Maria José the owner is delightful - friendly, efficient and brimming over with knowledge and enthusiasm about the area. There was a puzzling shortage of basic kitchen equipment - wine glasses and bowls in very short supply! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Great little cottage in the countryside. Good location to visit the local area and beyond. Surrounded by farmland, it's not always so peaceful but didn't bother us at all. Clean and comfortable. Tony was very helpful and on site if needed. Slightly short on glasses/tumblers but as there were only 2 of us, we managed! Places to visit are the monastry at Sobrado, The beach of Cathedrals, Finisterra, A Coruña and of course Santiago de Compastala. Avoid Lugo. Big disappointment."

"This stay was at the end of a six-week tour of Portugal and Galicia in which we had stayed in a number of self catering properties. We thought this was one of the best. It is a lovely old house, elegantly extended and renovated to a high standard using fine timber and marble to create a harmonious space.
