"From the moment we walked in the door Alessandro and staff made us feel wonderfully welcome. Romano was there with a welcome drink, Federica with a hand massage…fantastico. The property was absolutely stunning and well maintained. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite and the daily breakfast was rich with both international hot options and local classics-served in a beautiful dining room leading out to the gardens-by a friendly and efficient staff member. We didn’t get her name unfortunately....

"The Quarry Resort exceeded all our expectations. From the minute we parked our rental car at an offsite location we were quickly driven to the hotel. Porters took our luggage down cobblestone streets and stairs to the hotel. The location of the hotel is a wow moment. The setting amongst the Sassi is one of a kind. "This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. Also great the breakfastr buffet"

"Excellent stay. The staff is so kind, welcoming and thoughtful. They welcomed us late at night with a pack and play set up for our baby and called us in the morning to remind us of breakfast before check out to find a prepared table with a high chair ready for our son.
