"The staff at the Hyatt Regency could not be faulted and made the stay above and beyond a normal boutique hotel. Everything was as described, the room and bathroom were comfortable and the kitchen provided excellent meals and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Car parking was free in a densely populated area and it was easy to drive around the island. I hope I can return. "

"A lovely characterful property in a quiet, yet incredibly convenient location. Our suite in the Hideaway was on the top floor with a mezzanine level and outdoor spa pool. The view towards the harbour and of the three cities was amazing. However, for someone less mobile the spiral staircase might be tricky to climb. The hotel was very luxurious and the service first class. We will definitely return as Malta has so much to offer and 3 days wasn’t nearly enough time to experience it all. "

However, the guest rooms are in need of some attention. Some of the issues we noticed: 1: Broken Tiles in the bathroom. 2: Room furniture shows signs of wear 3: Room air conditioning not operational 4: Bed mattress and pillows are in desperate need of replacement. "Much more than what we expected, it's a bit like Dr Who's telephone box, the hotel looks small on the outside but once you go inside, it is spacious, modern, clean, and has friendly staff. Very tentative, credit to the hotel. Also the hotel is in a great location. The only slight issue was the towels, which were very tired and in bad condition, but this was a minor issue. Look forward to the next visit."
