"The Casa Gangotena was perfection! The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was gracious and attentive. We stayed in a very comfortable, large room with a spectacular view of the Plaza de San Francisco. We enjoyed breakfast and a wonderful dinner at the hotel and loved that the menu included local cuisine. Plus, the prices were reasonable - we would have easily paid twice as much at home for a meal of the same caliber. You also shouldn't miss a late afternoon cocktail on the rooftop!"

"Loved the history and decor of the hotel. The only recommemdation I have is it lacked storage space in the bathroom of room 8. For 4 adults with toiletries one shelf is not enough the bathroom was a nice size maybe adding more shelving or a small cabinet.would be helpful. One of my favorite stays!"

I was the victim of an attempted mugging immediately outside of the hostel. It was 7:30pm on a Friday and I was about 10 steps away from the door when a man grabbed me and tried to take my phone. I fought him away but I strongly suspect I was targeted for having stayed at Viajero. I was not told to be cautious or warned at all when I checked in and from...
