"There was not enough staff to assist for Breakfast. We could hardly get a coffee served after several attempts to get attention of staff and they did nit ask if we wanted anything else such as egg omlette"

"While its a lovely hotel we were disappointed not to be notified that pool was closed till warmer weather even though some people just like to swim and if you have nothing indoors well out is next best ...compared to being told to go swim in the sea!!! Also smell out side of hotel was an awful sewage type smell just before you walked in and we felt that should be addressed. Staff were great but I thought menu needs to be better"

"Although we did not get our room upgrade, we did get a top floor room facing the river. I am glad that this hotel does not force their guests to pay the $10 resort fee/day like the hotels in the US. The free bottle of red wine and the 2 small de nata in our room on the first day of check-in are additional bonuses. The room is spacious enough, and we loved having the river view from the balcony.
