"The property is very nice, the pool is superb however they close it very early at 7 pm but I understand they may want to prevent noise for the tenants facing the pool. The staff in general was nice, but a few were a little annoyed by questions. You need a car I will not walk outside the property since it is a main road. They offer a shuttle to the Alvor beach ( it is a public beach) you can inquire if they offer other stops, I am sure Uber works fine too. If dinning in the property make sure to...

"I cannot say enough great things about this place. We stumbled upon it - and are so grateful. The decor of the entire resort is absolutely perfect. So serene, peaceful and just a true oasis in the middle of an incredible country. Staff was outstanding - friendly, helpful, accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The spa, the pool - literally one of the best places I have ever stayed!"

"The preservation of the original home and its fine architecture, Brazilian wood, and gorgeous hand painted tiles was meticulous and made for a very special stay. We really enjoyed the incredible presentation of our salt crusted sea bass at dinner. The service and food were top notch. We were also delighted with our gracious room upgrade, bottle of champagne upon arrival. Delightful property!"
