"Our stay was overall pleasant. The hotel is in a great location on the Sliema side, with a bus stop and ferry stops conveniently nearby. The room itself was nice, and we appreciated the twice-daily room cleaning service, which was a lovely touch. However, the soundproofing could be improved, as noise from the neighboring room was disruptive at times. The food offered a variety of options, but the quality was average. Unfortunately, there were very few vegetarian options, and no lactose-free...

It’s located in a very convenient location as it’s a short walk from both the ferry, and a variety of shops and places to eat, while also being in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. "The lobby was elegant and inviting. The staff and turn down service was exceptional. We did a spa treatment with the vitality suite offering which was mediocre. I would say that the price per night was very high given that breakfast was not included and the location is rather inconvenient without any restaurants nearby."

"Absolutely fantastic location!! We also stayed at The Phoenician for 3 nights (after staying at this hotel) and we wished we hadn’t left the Cugo Gran. This hotel is just perfect and boutique with incredible staff. I loved the area and felt like we could explore Malta and still come back to a beautiful and peaceful home base. We had our 6 month old baby with us and put our in-laws / grandparents in a separate room for the family vacation and eveybody LOVED it!"
