"This is a beautiful property in a fantastic location but it is not a 5star experience 1. Parking- not at all clear when I booked that parking was no where near the hotel - I recognize that the hotel is in the “historic district” but so were all the other hotels we stayed at on this trip. One offered to “register your car for your stay” and then offered valet parking while others offered detailed maps to offsite parking / provided entry codes and parking spots/ and free pick up via golf cart or...

"This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. "Resort is incredibly beautiful. Most if the staff were very friendly. However the keycard I had to purchase for 30e did not work at restaurant and bar. And the property is very large. I was directed back to the check in twice which was annoying the second time. And they don’t accept cash or visa. Just the key card. I had no choice but to order the buffet- a la carte was no available. Aside from this I enjoyed my short 1 night stay. Ps no one answers the phone, tv remote doesn’t work and neither...
