"Lily and her husband were the best hosts! The check in was so fast and Lily gave us advice on where things were in the area. She makes breakfast to order from a lovely menu and the food was delicious. The room was super clean, spacious, and quiet. She gave us free bicycles to use right away. We also rented scooters from them for just $5 per day. Her husband taught us how to use them and made sure we were comfortable and safe. They let us store our bags until our night bus came after check out...

"This hotel had a beautiful courtyard and small pool although we didn’t get to use it during our stay. We stayed on the top floor and the room itself was lovely with high bamboo ceilings. I also appreciated that it had a large double vanity sink area. What was weird was no hand soap by the sinks so you had to walk in the shower and squeeze out body gel every time you wanted to wash your hands. Also, the guy at the front desk didn't seem very friendly and didn’t answer the phone when we tried...

"We loved Nin Binh and the Emeralda was our favorite hotel… we took 2 tours that we booked directly through the hotel, and they were awesome! Our guide was Dung, for both days, and he was great. We also booked our transportation to Hanoi through the hotel and it was very nice! If you think you want a massage, book early! We only got 1 out of 3 attempts because we tried to book to late."
