"A warm welcome from the check in staff and then to find my room had a lovely view out over the golf course. The room was a junior suite. An exceptionally comfy bed, a large rain shower, a huge sofa, and a Nespresso machine were among the facilities on offer. Breakfast was served in Calder’s bistro. I got a lovely table by the window and my order was taken quickly and arrived equally quickly. Fantastic pancake stack with blueberries and maple syrup. The only blight on the horizon was the toast...

Bed huge and also very comfy!! Hubby lost something enroute to breakfast which we reported to reception and was speedily found very professional and friendly staff!! Highly recommended hotel!! "There for a romantic stay and the hotel was beautiful, especially with all their stunning Christmas decorations. Service was absolutely first class: friendly, helpful, warm, welcoming and just made us feel special and pampered. Yes it’s a hotel of the highest standards but you don’t feel in any way uncomfortable - just like a beautiful big house with lots of people looking after you for two days. Huge credit to management and more importantly the staff. "

"Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Dunfermline was very pleasant, room was adequate & clean, staff very pleasant, breakfast options were plenty and tasty. The hotel is on the bus routes to and from Dunfermline with a stop just outside the hotel on main road. The only thing about our stay which stopped us drinking or dining at the hotel was the amount of dogs in the main lounge area, one of our party has a serious medical reaction to animal hair which defines our choices in these matters."
