"We booked the Alhambra Palace Hotel for one night in Granada. The obvious big plus here is the proximity to the Alhambra which amazing to see (private tour is well worth it !). The hotel has an old world flair and grandeur that is special. The view from the bar and breakfast area and balcony is exceptional. "Gorgeous hotel with outstanding service. Felt like royalty from the moment we arrived until saying the last good byes. Irene, the concierge, spent considerable time highlighting sights, restaurants, and bodegas to visit. Seemed genuinely glad to help. From the always smiling bellhops, front desk staff, breakfast staff, to the cleaning help, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. "I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof...

"This property was very comfortable and welcoming. The room had personal touches including a handwritten welcome card, half bottle of wine and snacks. The spa/sauna needs to be reserved per use and was a bit inconvenient as we were instructed to come down in bathrobes and slippers. But it was mostly empty and easy to access. The breakfast was excellent with hot food options to order. "

"We were some of the only people there, it was off season for this location so parking and the pool were no problem but you have to drive in order to get to any of the sites or attractions. Staff was friendly and room was big with plenty of space for a large family. A/C worked well."
