"A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). "Perfectly situated in the centre of Fontainebleau and opposite the chateau. Napoleon underground car park right opposite but be aware that your vehicle must be under 1.85m so not possible for us. This should be made clear on the hotel details as it’s difficult to reverse onto main road. Foyer and bar are really stylish if a little cold with a drain type smell on the way to the lifts. The room was a good size but slightly dated and there was an unpleasant smell. New and upgraded shower room. Bed...
