"Intercontinental Malta could do with a face lift but staff were really nice and accommodating. BENJAMIN from the reception was incredible helpful with checkout. My parents really liked him and also the breakfast staff was soooo welcoming and sweet. Really outstanding staff!!! The beach club is an essential add-on that makes it super worth it to book with your hotel!!"

A great location for easy walking into Valletta but still a quiet location with all the facilities and ambience that you would expect of a 5 star hotel that is right next to the sea. The buffet breakfast was great with a big selection of options to choose from. My only very minor criticism is that the hot items of the buffet breakfast (bacon, sausage, beans, etc.) were not kept quite as hot as I would have liked."

"The location of this hotel is perfect and we would choose it again. It's a lovely property with incredible staff and impeccably clean. Our room had stunning views of Valetta, yet felt like a bit of an oasis from the busy surrounding areas. Everything is walkable. The only small point that's not as ideal is that hotel guests are treated differently at the pool as it's a private club. Otherwise, this is a perfect choice for a stay in Malta. It was the best part of our trip. "

"Have stayed here several times . Good location . Excellent rooftop pool and Fusion restaurant . Very good breakfast with wide choice. All staff extremely friendly and professional. Complimentary upgrade to a suite on top floor which was lovely and spacious but needs some updating and more clothes storage . Shower leaked and flooded floor every time making floor dangerously slippy . Would stay here again"

"Big rooms with a comfortable bed, shower room was nicely finished. The hotel had a pool on the roof terrace with great views overlooking the harbour. Restaurant food was very good. Things to improve - the suite we stayed in was damp, it had a dehumidifier in it which needed emptying regulary. The pool was dirty with debris at the bottom and floating."
