"Visited at New Year, was busier than usual outside the hotel due to the Christmas market and fair, but inside was still lovely and peaceful. Staff were efficient and friendly, the facilities were excellent and the food was fantastic. This was our second visit and we will go again. "

Only downside is the area immediately outside the hotel which is good for anyone wanting to party…but a few minutes walk and you’re in nice areas with great choice of restaurants and bars"

"It's been long coming, as previous patrons of the old Fortina. We took note of the changes, but still loved the hotel for what it is. It's clean, comfortable, parking is cheap, the bar is quiet and well stocked and the restaurants are top notch. In what is today a multicultural society, we were also pleased and proud to note that in the main restaursnt, the chef is Maltese and there is a healthy mix of local and foreign staff. "

"A beautiful hotel in a convenient location just inside Mdina walls, the Xara Palace has the highest quality you would expect at a Relais et Châteaux property. The staff is superb and everyone went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were fulfilled. Not to be missed is dinner at the hotel’s de Mondian restaurant! "

"Staff were quite noisy outside No internet in room even though reported on Day 1. On the day of my partner's birthday the bed was all done up with towel sculptures and flowers. It was really appreciated Unique place to stay in "
