"The staff are super. You just had to ask. One thing that needed addressing is air conditioning. They don’t switch air conditioning on till 1/4 no matter how hot the room gets. "Elegantly appointed boutique hotel in a historic mansion. Every detail of decor reflects thought and aesthetic alignment. Service 5-star--we felt cared for and in a luxury hotel. Turn down service included truffles on the bed. We had a dinner in the restaurant. Food was top flight and beautiful despite temporary location. Breakfast buffet not fancy but adequate. Waiter on Tuesday morning was coughing everywhere, a single deficit in our experience at this nearly perfect hotel. "

"I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof...
