"Beautiful hotel set in amazing grounds. Very frosty conditions during our stay which added to the overall ambience. Staff very attentive. Food was excellent. We had a lovely dinner in the Hermione restaurant. Breakfast choice very good. Bar was very busy in the evening with just one person serving so it could have been better staffed. "The hotel was very warm throughout it was hard to sleep. The bed was done and the mattress leaned to one side. The food was really bad, we had to send it back. Ordered veg curry and they brought chicken, they changed it and all I got was a watery curry sauce full of onions and the rice was clumped together.
