"Great Hotel, within easy walking distance of York City Centre – 10-12 mins max.Room was very clean and spacious with a good-sized TV (55Inch) and a good selection of teas and coffees provided . Bar was clean and well stocked , good selection of fines and beers and reasonable prices. Plenty of onsite parking @ £17 per night – not cheap, but not extortianate for a major tourist spot like York . Will go again. "

"Positives: Friendly check-in and staff. Clean good-size room. Good price for York. Hotel seems in good condition. Neutral: Mistake made at check-in which would have charged me twice for the room had I not checked. It was sorted out quickly when pointed out. Negative: Breakfast had a good selection but coffee is from an automatic machine and not good. Both had Eggs Benedict which wasn't great. "

"We had a lovely stay, the staff were friendly and it was so quiet. There is parking, a coffee machine available 24/7 and fresh croissants in the morning. The only issue I had was that the mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on concrete so I didn’t get very much sleep but the firmness of mattresses is a personal preference. "

"Lovely hotel, really easy check in. I’m a wheelchair user the lift is a little tight for a larger wheelchair and another person but doable, just. They didn’t have a wheelchair accessible room for 3. But the room we stayed in was large and I was able to get in with my chair. The bathroom wasn’t big enough to get my chair in . The hotel was clean, smells lovely, room was clean apart from mould on the nets."

"I had a 2 night stay with a friend whilst attending a funeral locally. The room was clean and tidy and good sized. we had a meal in the restaurant with other fiends (8of us). Most of us had a good experience. But 3 had an issue with the steaks ordered. They found them to be a little tough to eat. The others all enjoyed what they had ordered. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. There was ample parking,"
