"This is a property in the Sasso Caveoso in Matera, the most incredible and one of the most ancient places on earth. The views of the Sassi and the caves are incredible and the room carved in the rock was spacious and comfortable. I would have added a TV close to the bed and a second sink in the bathroom but altogether the place is great. Very good service ans evryone is superfriendly and helpful. "The Quarry Resort exceeded all our expectations. From the minute we parked our rental car at an offsite location we were quickly driven to the hotel. Porters took our luggage down cobblestone streets and stairs to the hotel. The location of the hotel is a wow moment. The setting amongst the Sassi is one of a kind. "Resort is incredibly beautiful. Most if the staff were very friendly. However the keycard I had to purchase for 30e did not work at restaurant and bar. And the property is very large. I was directed back to the check in twice which was annoying the second time. And they don’t accept cash or visa. Just the key card. I had no choice but to order the buffet- a la carte was no available. Aside from this I enjoyed my short 1 night stay. Ps no one answers the phone, tv remote doesn’t work and neither...
