"We had just finished a river cruise and needed a hotel for 2 nights before flying home. We arrived around noon and were able to check in early. The location makes for easy walk to get around the old city of Lyon. So much to see and do in the area. Our double classic room (queen bed) was perfect for our needs. Hallways could use some updating. The 8th floor bar has spectular city/river night time views but is “tres” pricey. "

"Spacious room, nice little Juliette balcony, good spa in the basement. Sunday buffet brunch was a ripoff - €39 with the limits of one entree and one hot beverage, no mimosas and only 5 choices for an entree, one of which was a fried egg and bacon. But most everything is closed on Sunday, am for sure, so there aren't a lot of other options."

"Fantastic location for enjoying Lyon. A quick walk (down many stairs) to best restaurants and to explore Lyon. Close to funicular to Fourvier. Worried about climbing those stairs to return? There are plenty of Huber rides for 12-15 euro, a value for two sets of old knees. "

"The rooms are enormous and the service from all staff was really a 5/5. Free spa amenities wet and dry saunas, hot tub, pool with nice robes and slippers provided with the room. There are only 22 rooms so they get to know each guest very quickly. Great stay and would highly recommend."
