"I booked through Orbitz and they had pictures of nice bathrooms and rooms, but the room we got was dark, super basic and the bathroom was tiny. My wife refused to stay there. Luckily they were able to upgrade us to a better room for $US160 for 2 nights to a very nice room. Still the shower was a mess, couldn’t figure out how to make it the right temp, had a weird setup. "It is a very noce small hotel by the beach. The pool is gorgeous. Maresias is a beautiful beach, excellent for surfing ana playing beach tennis. The hotel staff is amazing very kind. "

"This hotel is beautiful! our room was spacious, ocean view & poolside! It had a fridge, very good AC and a wonderful breakfast with made to order eggs! The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They even helped us to get a taxi back to São Paulo, which was a real challenge through normal channels. There are mosquitoes, as the grounds are very lush and green, so remember your bug spray. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! "
