"The room was clean but there was no attention to detail ( corners, dust under bed, etc), after all that's what distinguishes establishments from one another. The bathroom was always wet due to the shower design construction. No night light for kids to visit at night the bathroom. The whole room had to be lit like new years or use mobile flashlight. This is family orientated hotel/resort. Small things and attention to details are what make a champion and hotel was laking of this. Not adequate...

"Check-in was OK once we figured out the digital entry system they use. The hotel is close to the river, but much of the downtown (old town) was a bit of a drive. It worked out for us because we had a rental car. Not sure how it would work for someone who relies on public transport. Or stay was great. "

Allerdings ist man wirklich auf ein Auto angewiesen, denn im nahen Ortskern gibt es außer ein paar, bei uns leider geschlossenen Geschäften nichts nennenswertes. Außerhalb der Saison ist es außerdem schwierig, Aktivitäten im näheren Umkreis zu finden. Da hilft natürlich das inkludierte Schwimmbad, das allerdings auch oft zu gut besucht ist. "A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!"
