"Clean hotel, great breakfast, Staff were overall friendly except new staff Melissa, she just wanted to brush you off if you have any questions. Pool was under maintenance and Ofcourse when you book your hotel you have no idea it’s going to happen! Heat wrack in the bathroom also was not working. But overall very pleasant experience with them."

"The hotel was beautiful, and the restaurant and breakfast buffet was wonderful. The location is also great because it is right next to the bus and train station. Our only complaint was that we had sugar ants in our room.. a lot of them, and the shower water wasn’t hot. Ours never got hotter than Luke warm. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful. "

"Great location, with Avenida Metro station across the street, and maybe 10 minute walk along pleasant avenue to downtown, Baixa district. Our first time in Lisbon, and great choice for first exploration. Staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant, and nice quiet location. I felt a little guilty with my dowdy fleece and jeans and sneakers -- a lot of guests seem to make an effort to look a little more dressy. If that matters to anyone else. "Although we did not get our room upgrade, we did get a top floor room facing the river. I am glad that this hotel does not force their guests to pay the $10 resort fee/day like the hotels in the US. The free bottle of red wine and the 2 small de nata in our room on the first day of check-in are additional bonuses. The room is spacious enough, and we loved having the river view from the balcony.
