"Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service. We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to. The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. We ate in the Michelin* restaurant in the hotel. We booked our room very last minute & so initially they said they couldn’t fit us in...

"Villa Lario is genuinely spectacular. From the moment of arrival you are greeted at your car and assisted with your luggage. The staff are friendly, professional and all speak excellent English. The views of Lake Como are amazing, with a long view to the north of Bellagio, all the way to the snow-tipped Italian and Swiss Alps. "This place was great. The manager helped us out on all aspects she is a 5 star host. She really went out of her way to help out. Apartment is super clean, had a chance to workout in the gym and run down and get an expresso in the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it was great. "
