"Really wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in Le Marais, close to all the shops museums and only a short walk over the Senne to the myriad of other attractions. Lots and lots of food options, but do pre-book is my advice. PS we both became besotted by the very vocal hotel cat who we were told was on a "regime" as she was carrying a trifle too much largesse :-) highly recommended"

"I TRULY enjoyed my entire week at Hotel Patrik... The location, area is OUTSTANDING... The young men... Ryan, Ebel, Sam, Raymond, Andre.. were Soooo incredibly friendly for someone like myself..traveling alone from NYC..but with limited French vocabulary. The Hotel itself was PERFECT for me.. 63yr old.. but not needing "4star price" or massaging. PERFECTION if you just need wonderful place, best LOCATION..with new friends that can help you IF you are respectful..and have time and patience... I will RETURN next hopefully EVERY year in future.. "This hotel was perfect for my solo trip to Paris. It was a short walk from the Bastille Metro stop (and near other Metro and bus stops). It was not fancy, but comfortable. My bed was comfy, the tall windows opened to let in fresh air, the heat was perfect - and the hotel was totally quiet! It is on a quiet street between two busy streets - and I heard no noise. Not even from fellow guests! The breakfast was adequate - no fresh fruit, but basically fine and very convenient. Staff was great. Everyone I asked help from - I don't speak French - was super nice. Housekeeping was excellent. A bath lover should request a room with a tub. I had a huge soaking tub - like a spa! A real treat at the end of the day. And the room had a fridge and a teakettle - much appreciated. In short, a great choice near the most picturesque streets of the Marais. "
