"The hotel has an excellent location, just 15 minutes from Hondarribia, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The breakfast was excellent, homemade with high-quality products and fresh fruits. The room was spacious, with a great shower and all the amenities you need to feel comfortable. The staff provided very good service, attentive and friendly. However, room 101 is quite noisy as it is close to the reception. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended."

"Lovely stay at this hotel right in the heart of the town. We had but realised it was festival weekend and the staff were so helpful to let us park our camper van in the garage when the town was sealed off. The festival was amazing and the locals so welcoming, polite and so much fun. We’d love to return again someday, even better if it was festival weekend. "

"Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"

On the negative side, the shower was hand-held, with half glass door so the floor will get wet. "Great basic hotel in town. Decent dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely view from our prestige room over the old church - but be warned, the bells ring on the hour all night! Still, its part of the charm of this wonderful area. We also did a great hike up to the three crosses - fabulous views."
