"Pool didn't look very clean"

"Nice resort! Clean room, friendly staff, wonderful pools! Decent continental breakfast, and we loved the pancake machine! The only one thing. We booked 1 bedroom apartment and we thought it wil be a separate bedroom, but unfortunately it was a studio, with a wall pretending to separate it in the middle of the room. Apart from that, everything was very enjoyable."

"We arrived in mid afternoon and were warmly greeted and welcomed. We were told about the room and then made our way. The property is convenient to everything being right downtown next to restaurants, coffee shops and retail. The room was clean and most everything we needed was there. Staff were friendly and competent. The property is older but clean and we were sad to leave having enjoyed a wonderful sytay."

"What a great unique property tucked in so close to the strip area, yet you would never know. Lots of amenities close by. Sadly, we were only able to visit for 4 nights, and loads of rain. Still able to enjoy pool area, which has the feeling of a tropical garden. Will definitely be planning to return to Port Douglas and this beautiful property, for a much longer visit "

"The property is located on a nature reserve, so it very quiet. There are a couple of walks the stargazers is worth doing it is step access so to stay here you do need to be mobile steps to your rooms and to reception it is in the middle of nowhere so if your happy to have one choice of restaurant it is fine"

"We first got there and the no tv thing had us worried lol. But this lodge is absolutely beautiful. You go to sleep listening to the peaceful sounds of the waterfall and animals. The food is beautiful and the staff are so friendly. And cater to all your needs. "

"Truly an excellent place, the owners didnt hesistate to put the best building materials into the villa. There are at least 5 to 6 towel hangers in bathroom. No stinginess there. The architect did an amazing job making a 2 BR villa look big, and on our first entry we said "wow". The swimming pool was special with lots of little spa like sections, all connected to main section, people can sit around and chat with separate privacy. "Truly an excellent place, the owners didnt hesistate to put the best building materials into the villa. There are at least 5 to 6 towel hangers in bathroom. No stinginess there. The architect did an amazing job making a 2 BR villa look big, and on our first entry we said "wow". The swimming pool was special with lots of little spa like sections, all connected to main section, people can sit around and chat with separate privacy. An 11 am check out time gave us a lovely relaxed last morning. We still checked out at 930 am as habit, but knowing it's 11 am, we didn't feel any rush packing up. An 11am check out time for such a large 2 storey 2BR villa to clean before next customers'check-in at 2 pm, this really gives all the other hotels/motels a tough act to follow. "
