"Easy to check in. Room was nice. large TV. one thing i could not get the BBC Red button to work just to check the news. but not major Problem, I found BBC 6 Music on the TV which was good. Breakfast was good food was warm thick bread for toast was good, two toasters and two coffee machines. good choice at breakfast. "Advertised as city view but only view of half due to the massive building across, I guess can’t be helped. Breakfast loads of options but the hot food was lukewarm and went cold fast after plated, Still tasty though. Quick service to get checked in and out, easy to get to the city centre and the car park but we did come on a Sunday which is a quieter time. Special requests was done for us when requested! Expected a bath with shower but only got a shower, but you could probably request this...

I had one of the new ground floor rooms, but it had no desk (only a small round table which was no good for working on) and practically zero draw space. Also, housekeeping was poor (I came back to find my curtains still closed, lamp still on, wet towel still on vanity sink unit, and only one of the two mugs washed up, with the other...

"The reception staff were great. Room was huge with 2 king size beds. Some of the furniture didn’t match, black table on one side of the room & wood everywhere else? The floor tiles in the bathroom were uneven with some grout missing and the bathroom door was sticking on the floor. We loved the idea that if you stayed 2 nights or more and did not request your room to be made up you received a £5 voucher to spend at the bar, brilliant idea. Bar area had some nice areas but quite dim in others....
