"Had an unusual issue with our door not shutting all the way but they fixed it immediately! Gentleman at the front desk was very prompt and took our concerns very seriously even though he was busy with the hotel being sold out. Lots of good food, shopping, transport, and sights just a short walk away."

"We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The young lady at check in was so friendly and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was a very good size and so clean! They even upgraded our room which was a massive bonus so thank you for that. Breakfast was great as well. Loads of choice and all very tasty and fresh. "This hotel fit our needs great-the room was very large-with 2 sofas that pulled out into beds, in addition to the king size bed. The hotel is large in size, and some areas were under construction during our stay, but it was still clean and very quiet. Some of the areas (specifically the laundry facility) could be better marked, but not sure if that was due to the construction going on. "very nice boutique hotel on the Northern edge of the old town. Just a 5 min walk to Marion Platz. Close to many good restaurants and shopping as well as historic buildings. A large and very pleasant park is just a short walk away. Our room was large, clean, and quiet. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my wife. Mattress may need replacing. Amenities were good, breakfast was very good, hotel was clean and up to date. Staff was cheerful and efficient. We would stay again. Have fun!"

"The room was exactly as promised and was clean and ready when I expected it to be. The property is a weird walk to the closest subway station (you pass by multiple adult entertainment venues and have to go through not the best-lit areas) but this is not entirely the fault of the property and may have been different for a man/group rather than a woman travelling alone. "Very clean and modern hotel. Spacious room! Staff was OUTSTANDING!! Nataliya was the best at the bar. Restaurant and breakfast we excellent with lots of choices, especially the omelets. "This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. It’s about 20-30 mins to the heart of Munich and Ubers are very easy to use. You can walk right to the outlets for breakfast or grab groceries. The sauna is AMAZING. We enjoyed it every night after lots of beers at Oktoberfest! The staff was easy to work with and very friendly. Would recommend staying here! "

"When traveling to Munich, I was more concerned about location than amenities and when I decided to stay at Platzl Hotel, I didn’t expect much for what I paid in comparison to other hotels nearby. What an amazing find and I would recommend for anyone to stay here. It’s such a great value based on its location and amenities. The room is extremely clean, there’s excellent service, a lively bar downstairs and a sauna after a cold, wintry day. It’s in Marienplatz and therefore close to the subway line, but completely walkable with tons of restaurants and high end boutiques for some retail therapy. I’m extremely happy with this hotel. We would love to stay here again. "
