"The king room is very spacious. However, the tub would not drain, the entry light would not turn on and the elevators are a little old and rickety. The property sprawls a large area so it’s a little bit of a walk to get to the lobby from the parking. We went for a wedding and the event space was very pretty, but dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

Delicious breakfast each morning, which we chose to have delivered to our room. Delivered on time, in a large picnic basket. Such a great idea!!!. Dinner in the beautifully decorated dining room Christmas Eve was superb. The Reluctant Panther does not disappoint. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend! "

"We spent several nights at this lovely Victorian era inn in the "Otto Room". The mattress was very comfortable. The shower could use an update and water temperatures fluctuated but had good water pressure. We loved the working fireplace but would have preferred real wood to the duraflame (which is not good for chimneys either as it deposits residues over time that clog chimneys). One could hear the neighbors through the doors a bit - as one would expect from a Victorian aged structure- but did...
