"We stayed for one night in a double room. The rooms were clean and fine, a little older in the decor. But the patio doors to the balcony were labelled out of order and a breeze could be felt through the seal. When raised with reception they were brilliant, checked other rooms and moved us to one which didnt have the sign on the door. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to accommodate us. We had dinner there and this was really good."

"Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away! Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as...

Staff aren’t afraid to go out of their way to help you during your stay if you require a phone charger or anything just enquire with them at the front desk. For the oldest hotel in Nottingham it’s pretty good inside, air con works amazing, TVs are great and the bathroom despite not being 100% spotless was still very nice.
