"Comfortable and very quiet even though it is very close to the airport. Unfortunately the air conditioning doesn’t work very well so the rooms are hot at night. I stayed in June and it wasn’t all that hot outside. "

"Minibar drinks were available at no charge. The hotel restaurant was amazing. Imagine a fine meal in a cool garden at the end of a warm day. My GPS had me walking 12 min from the train. But there is a bus that drops you off right in front of the hotel…in case you don’t want to carry luggage that far."

"Little outdated but still a acceptably hotel. Some reception employees from eastern Europe are very unmotivated ( but not all ). I was there twice during a period of three month and it looks like they have to count every penny ( or Swiss Rappen ) .Meanwhile there is nothing free in the rooms - recently they even placed two cheap water bottles for 4,50 CHF !!! ( at least this was free three months ago ). Also, they charge 45 CHF for each dog - but it`s just because they allow a dog in the...

"June 2024 - Canadian Couple We stayed here for one night as we had a missed connection in Zurich. The hotel was close to the airport (20-30 minute bus) and then a 5 minute walk. The room was new, clean, comfortable with a great shower. (Just what you need when your travel plans go awry.) We added on the breakfast buffet to our stay and it was great. An espresso machine, yogurt with an assortment of grains, cereals, nuts and seeds. Hot bar of scrambled eggs, bacon, cold selection of veggies,...

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for Schaffhausen as it is opposite the station and adjacent to the old town. Everything is walkable and the Rhinefalls are easily accessible by train. The room was very quiet and well appointed.Breakfast was fabulous. Really wish we had stayed another night as the stay was so pleasant. Especially the little birthday surprise at breakfast. Wonderful!"
