"Lovely building with areas to relax. Friendly hotel staff. Staff serving breakfast were excellent! Very attentive. Rooms cleaned efficiently and coffee etc stocked up, sometimes twice a day! The room was quite plain with no pictures to reflect the historical atmosphere of the area. Sadly the pool and gym were closed (out of season but also being refurbished). On arrival reception staff could not find our Expedia booking which was a bit worrying! Is that Expedia’s fault? "

"We were lucky enough to have been able to book the corner, river facing room. Great views to historic bridge and the mosque/cathedral accross the river. Breakfast buffet was really good, with additional choices of freshly cooked omelettes etc. One downside was the lack of a bar late in evening, or restaurant, but believe this was due to it being early in the year. One or two very closeby but other option's across river in old town"

"The property is in a very good location, close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions. Breakfast was adequate. The main issue was the tub and shower combination; the tub was narrow and the hand held shower head didn’t stay in place thus making it extremely frustrating. The room was sufficiently large and the air conditioning was great. "
