"The hotel is located in an ideal location for great walks in the forest and lakeside. It’s clean and well appointed. Would stay there again but would not fall for the front desk trick! Upon checking in, I asked the reception desk woman if the breakfast was included; she checked our reservation and confirmed breakfast was indeed included. "Have you ever been on a city break, choosen an apartment based hotel based on it having a swimming pool, to find it was actually located in the attached old filks home. Think thats bad, tjen find the reception staff act as they also come from the old fols home, they certainly hav'nt been trained in hosputality. Air condition, slight trickle of cold air, windows bolted shut, might as well have been locked in an oven. And if you want more than 2 cups of coffee on a four day stay get ready to pay 1...

What a surprise for me when I found this place in the middle of nowhere and between wood and river. Perfect for yoga or Qi Gong or for picnic. This hidden place is only accessible by walk or bicycle on the way between Nantes/Rezé (Parc de la Morinière) and Vertou (Écluse). Let's go for discover it and its animals (baby goat, cows, horses, wild birds, etc.). Also accessible by canoeing!

"Hotel du Monde staff were very helpful on arrival. Our apartment was a 5min walk from the centre,so there was easy access to places for eating. Our apartment was in a beautiful old building and it was stunning to walk into.We had an equipped small kitchen, small living space with a terrace. The bedroom boasted a beautiful 4 poster bed with tv and a roomy en suite with a power shower. Toiletries were complimentary and smelt delicious! We returned to the main hotel the next morning for breakfast. The breakfast room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Staff were very friendly as they explained the breakfast food,which was the most varied and delicious spread ive seen in a hotel. There was a vast choice of cereals,yogurts ,breads,pastries or cooked food ,and teas,coffees and juices. Everything was just perfect. We only had one night in Nantes but we would love to return to see more of this beautiful city and of course,stay longer in Hotel du Monde. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟"
