"The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"We had the most fabulous stay. Great location, can see the marina which is about a 3 minute walk. All very new and modern, great layout. Lovely facilities, one of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time- just a shame we didn’t stay longer. Host was great and very accommodating, very quick responses. "

Arrived in the height of summer although adequate albeit a bit tired looking, it was not the cleanest and AC was broken, they sent a maintenance guy who said it needed something changing on the roof and it would be sorted the next day as everyone had left for the day. Went to bed that night and awoke to a strange scratching sound, my husband and I convinced ourselves it was wind rattling something outside. "We enjoyed a quiet stay a Villa Vanilla. Our host kindly did all our laundry and accommodated an early departure. We were able to walk the neighborhood easily finding good food and beach access. It is a ways from old town was the only down side. "

"This property is absolutely beautiful! The pictures looked good but in reality it is even better!! The hosts have gone so much further than what you would expect. The property is appointed so well and you can tell they have a deep desire to please their guests. The kitchen is fully equipped to use, linens were plentiful, bedding was very comfortable and it is just as pleasant as can be. The location is fantastic for walking just about everywhere; plenty of shops, restaurants and fun places...
