"Location was fantastic but be prepared to walk up lots of stairs. Old city centre totally walkable but this always means parking is a few blocks away. Breakfast included plus discount if you eat any other meals there. Suite itself good, but unfortunately smelly bathroom drains that may be due simply to an old building that the host may have no control over. Keep the door closed so the sleeping area doesn’t pick up the smell. Overall good but if you’re picky go elsewhere. Host was great."

"Dino and Slaven were extremely helpful and friendly. I unfortunately stumbled and rolled my ankle on my first day in Zadar. It was a very bad sprain and I was unable to walk. They went out of their way to help.. even providing me with a set of crutches! The place was immaculate and clean and full of amenities for cooking (which I had to do because my injury prevented me from going out to eat). "We had the most fabulous stay. Great location, can see the marina which is about a 3 minute walk. All very new and modern, great layout. Lovely facilities, one of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time- just a shame we didn’t stay longer. Host was great and very accommodating, very quick responses. "

"We enjoyed a quiet stay a Villa Vanilla. Our host kindly did all our laundry and accommodated an early departure. We were able to walk the neighborhood easily finding good food and beach access. It is a ways from old town was the only down side. "

"The beds were not the most comfortable. Too hard, but also with annoying polyvinyl under the sheets. Maybe we were expecting a more well-kept beach in this 5-star resort. Comparing the beach with the neighboring, much smaller 4-star resort Sunnyside Apartments shows some of the weaknesses of the Falkensteiner resort beaches."

"This property is absolutely beautiful! The pictures looked good but in reality it is even better!! The hosts have gone so much further than what you would expect. The property is appointed so well and you can tell they have a deep desire to please their guests. The kitchen is fully equipped to use, linens were plentiful, bedding was very comfortable and it is just as pleasant as can be. The location is fantastic for walking just about everywhere; plenty of shops, restaurants and fun places...

"Room is clean and beautifully designed but do note there are birds chirping at 4am. Check-in and check-out was smooth and it's about 5 mins walk to the Sea Organ."
